Greenbackers COP28 Investment Pitch Live in London – where venture capital meets cleantech

Wednesday, 6 Dec 2023 12:00 – 19:00 GMT | WithersTech, 20 Old Bailey London, EC4M 7AN, United Kingdom

The Greenbackers Investment Pitch – bringing together investment-ready techpreneurs with funds in cleantech and climate related sectors

Join Greenbackers in London, during COP28, on 6 December, as we host our next bi-annual Investment Pitch. We call it the “Counter-COP”. Rather than jetting off to the UAE, we’ll be more carbon conscious and run our Technology and Investment Pitch in London, at the offices of our partners Withers Tech, cleantech’s leading law firm.

VC Funds, Corporate Funds, Family Offices, Impact Funds and Angel Syndicates are welcome to join us to see some of the most unique, cutting edge, investible deals to be found. Scroll down to see who is confirmed to present!

This program showcases investment-ready cleantech ventures seeking Late Seed, Series A or B round funding.

During breakouts and the drinks reception, there will be ample time for entrepreneurs and investors to meet and interact. This is a great way to engage with market-ready cleantech businesses in a highly conducive environment.

Once again, Greenbackers are selecting some of the world’s most investable early stage climate technology ventures and helping them secure growth funding from our global climate & clean tech investment fund base during COP28. Join us!

Finalists are chosen on the basis of: strength of the innovation, team, impact, vision and most importantly, commercial viability.

For Investors, this is the place to meet handpicked, investment-ready companies selected by the Greenbackers team for deals in climate, cleantech and circular economy.

“Very well put together. The process, organization, and follow up strategies are something I wish more pitch events put in place! I look forward to attending more of these.” Evan Cummings, Investment Manager, Centrica Ventures

Entrepreneurs: meet pre-qualified, serious investors who focus on the sector and are looking to talent spot market-ready ‘up and comers’:

  • EIS/SEIS Tax Funds and VCTs
  • Venture Capital and Corporate Venture Firms
  • Business Angels and Syndicates
  • Family Offices and Impact Investors
  • Government Funds including Aid & Development Funds

The room was completely full, packed with solid and relevant investors and appropriate other companies also pitching. It didn’t take up the whole day or drag on any longer than needed so every minute we spent there was extremely valuable.

Richard Tolley, Managing Director, Grid Duck (Presenter)

Entrepreneurs, please note: this event is for Greenbackers client ventures, and is part of an overall program of funding support. Standard terms apply.
