For Investors: this is the place to meet handpicked, investment-ready companies, selected by the Greenbackers team, for deals in climate, cleantech and circular economy. Pitching companies are hand-picked by Greenbackers and selected on the basis of: innovation, team, impact, vision and most importantly, commercial viability.

New for 2024: “Speed Dating” feature added to our traditional pitch event format this May!

Greenbackers events always offer investors high quality in-person pitches and the opportunity to network with a peer-group of verified investment funds. Now we offer one-to-one investor meetings in a speed dating type format in advance of the pitches. It’s great!

The speed dating element of the event offers the opportunity for deeper engagement with each founder and allows a fast assessment of how well each venture fits your criteria. Venture pitch decks will be available for review 2 weeks in advance of the event, allowing pre-selection of ventures (or even fellow funds) to meet with one-to-one on the day. Important Investor Note: Due to space and time constraints, the speed dating element is limited to a maximum of 20 funds, so it’s important you confirm your desire to participate ASAP when you register.

For Entrepreneurs: not only do you meet pre-qualified, serious investors who focus on the sector and are looking to talent spot market-ready ‘up and comers’, but you will also get 12 months of fundraising support from Greenbackers, introducing you to an even bigger audience of many hundreds of funds:

  • Venture Capital and Corporate Venture Firms
  • Family Offices and Impact Investment Funds
  • EIS/SEIS Tax Funds and VCTs (UK only)
  • Government Funds including Aid & Development Funds
  • Business Angels and Syndicates

Entrepreneurs, please note: this event is for Greenbackers client ventures, and is part of an overall program of funding support. See Standard Terms & Apply.

Very well put together. The process, organization, and follow up strategies are something I wish more pitch events put in place! I look forward to attending more of these.” Evan Cummings, Investment Manager, Centrica Ventures

The room was completely full, packed with solid and relevant investors and appropriate other companies also pitching. It didn’t take up the whole day or drag on any longer than needed so every minute we spent there was extremely valuable. Richard Tolley, Managing Director, Grid Duck, (Presenter)
