🗑️ Danu Robotics Ltd (AI-driven robotic waste management systems for efficient recycling, Raising £2m Seed, EIS) appeared on Rubbish Talk podcast. Their innovative technology continues to transform the recycling industry by improving sorting efficiency and reducing operational costs. (more here)

🧪 Sonichem’s (Innovative Bio-Based Chemicals, Raising £2.5m EIS) Miranda Lindsay-Fynn graduated from the Shott Scale Up Accelerator bu the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub. (more here)

🌊 Gazelle Wind Power (Offshore wind floating platforms) featured on Enlit’s podcast, highlighting their progress in advancing offshore wind energy solutions.

🚌 KleanDrive (Converting diesel buses to electric) announced a £1M investment from FirstGroup. This investment is validation from a major industry player. FirstGroup sees what we’ve known all along: the future of clean transport isn’t just about new vehicles, it’s about cleverly upgrading what we already have. (more here)

🚤 Ecomar Propulsion (High-performance electric & hybrid marine propulsion systems, Raising £2m Seed, SEIS & EIS) Produced and delivered a hydrogen hybrid electric workboat to Exeter Port Authority. Powered by two 250kW Ecomar Kairos motors and holds 180kWh of Li Ion Batteries which are supplemented by a 40kW hydrogen fuel cell that extends the range of the vessel considerably; this vessel is 100% carbon zero and is shifting the dial closer to zero carbon freight movements. 🌉 Horizon Bridge (Offshore wind cable monitoring, bridging technology and insurance, Raising £2m Seed) has been nominated for the prestigious Offshore Wind Gamechanger award at the RenewableUK Global Offshore Wind Awards 2024. Their tech is crucial in maintaining reliability and reducing risks in offshore wind projects. (more here)

🚰 H2C Safety Pipe (Safer, cheaper & retrofittable H2 transportation, Raising £5.8m Seed): Won the Make-It Prize in collaboration with NOV, awarded by the DOE and also secured their 13th patent which relates to the use of blockchain technology to provide hydrogen provenance tracking on an immutable ledger. The technology will help overcome regulatory & payment challenges in hydrogen as a tradeable commodity. (more here)

Inyanga MEG (Turn-key tidal energy solutions for offshore renewables, Raising £5m Series B) Was recently awarded an additional 10 MW CfD project from AR6 (the largest tidal allocation this round). The Group also completed critical hydrodynamic testing of the passive pitch unit for its patented HydroWing technology — showcasing that with this new system its blade rotors can now scale to twice the swept area, while also providing enhanced protection from adverse conditions such as wave loadings, grid loss and storm surges. These test results mark a major milestone in their mission to deliver low-cost, efficient, and reliable tidal energy arrays. (more here)

🌽 Lambda Agri (Innovative spray coating that increases crop growth) Closed a bridge round to support ongoing large scale growth trials that will produce commercial-scale results of their spectral conversion materials impact on premium crop yield. Lambda also welcomes a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), signaling a strategic inflection point towards scaling commercial operations, following key growth trials. (more here)

🛳️ NEOL Copper (Innovative materials for energy efficiency, Raising £5m Series A) featured in the October edition of Lube Magazine an shared a case study featuring a 450-hour field test on a high-speed hydrofoil vessel, which saved £1,470/month per vessel on fuel, showcasing the efficiency of their solutions in the maritime industry. OOMPH EV (Electric vehicle charging solutions, Raising £1m Seed) met with Welch Group to discuss the move to EV adoption across the HGV sector, paving the way for clean, heavy-duty transport. (more here)

🏍️ Verge Motorcycles (Advanced electric motorcycles with in-wheel rim motors, Raising Series A) delivered their first electric motorcycle to a UK customer, marking a significant milestone in their commercial journey. (more here)
