Greenbackers Continues to Invest In Future Talent

Greenbackers Investment Capital, a leading Climate Tech funding advisory firm welcomes three summer interns from Glasgow University.

Greenbackers Investment Capital has welcomed three summer interns from Glasgow University.

Anton Themen, Ross Faulds and Rosie Sida, were front and centre during their first week at the first Greenbackers event held at at Barclays Eagle Labs and will now be at the fore as we prepare and deliver our next Climate Tech Pitch in Glasgow on 11th May at All-Energy.

In line with organizational best practice, Greenbackers believes in offering career opportunities to talented students from its HQ in the city of Glasgow.

Greenbackers partner Andrew Smith commented “we have a long tradition of hosting summer interns and sending out a message that you don’t have to move to London or New York for a career at the leading edge of technology investment. It is astonishing how talented these young people are – we are delighted to be a part of their progress as they explore possible careers in climate finance”

We are proud to hear that Rory Selvey – our most recent “graduate intern” is heading to the HM Treasury Graduate Scheme – with a first rotation in Financial Stability, having just completed a spell working at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) along with Nathalie Khaled as part of her team working on economic competition and national planning in Beirut.

So – no pressure on Rosie , Ross or Anton then …
