TRIREC, a Singapore-based venture capital firm with decarbonisation as its investment mandate, is announcing its partnership with Net Zero Funding specialists Greenbackers Investment Capital, sponsoring its “26 For COP 26” SuperPitch program for Climatech start-ups to be held in conjunction with the UN Climate Summit, COP26, in Glasgow in November. Trirec’s focus is investment in renewable energy and clean technology.
Selected entrepreneurs are featured on Greenbackers’ new digital deal platform “The Greenbackers Showcase”. This pioneering investment platform puts the 26 chosen ventures into a “shop window” for the world’s leading investors to meet, review and determine their suitability for funding. The Showcase culminates in a “SuperPitch” event during COP26 in Glasgow on the 9th of November and live-streamed to a global investor audience with keynote a address from aviation pioneer Bertrand Piccard, Chairman of The Solar Impulse Foundation.
