Greenbackers are hosting the READY FOR INVESTMENT SESSION
This afternoon session focuses on start-up and early-stage companies interested in securing investment with pitches from some of the most exciting companies developing cutting-edge technologies for the offshore renewables industry.
The session is an opportunity for Launch Academy cohort companies, and early-stage innovators who have been supported by OWGP’s Innovation grant-funding programme to deliver a 6-minute pitch to an audience including a number of investor groups interested in companies within or targeting the offshore renewable energy industry. This is a fantastic platform to enhance company profile, and perfect pitching technique in front of a highly-relevant audience. This session is being kindly hosted by Greenbackers Investment Capital.
Andrew Smith, Greenbackers Investment Capital says:
We have worked alongside ORE Catapult on many occasions and are delighted to support their ongoing initiatives to expose early stage clean tech with applications offshore to the early stage investor market that we know well. We will be scouting for those innovations which will be of interest to our growing investor base on our Showcase Platform – now numbering some 440 funds – and increasing every week.
Alex Louden, Senior Technology Acceleration Manager of Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult commented:
We are delighted that Greenbackers are hosting our “Ready for Investment” session at Spotlight. Their experience in the early stage cleantech sector is second to none and they will add considerable value to our event and to the companies that have benefited from our and OWGP’s support and are now pitching.
