Greenbackers are delighted to announce their new, improved funding program for 2022 which builds on our widely acclaimed 26ForCOP26 program of last year. Once again, we will be selecting the most investable early stage climate technology ventures and helping them secure growth funding from our proven global climate tech investor base.
We now invite applications for participation in the program from climate tech ventures seeking Seed or Series A round funding and plan to announce the successful applicants in the coming weeks.
Successful applicants will be featured in our exclusive online dealroom which currently has 300+ venture fund members and to our wider network of over 3000 Climate Tech investors.
Additionally, program participants will be invited to join Greenbackers Global Climate Tech Tour – a twelve-month program of high-profile investor events in many of the world’s investment hubs including: Dubai, Glasgow, Amsterdam, Boston, New York, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago, COP27 in Cairo and rounding off in Singapore in Q1 2023.
How the program works
The selected ventures will be featured on Greenbackers’ online investment platform, the Greenbackers Showcase, where funders can view all the opportunities and engage with ventures directly.
Our Showcase platform puts these ventures into a “shop window” for review and determination of their suitability for investment. Greenbackers then proactively co-ordinates communications, discussions, and due diligence between the ventures and investors who visit their profiles.
In parallel with continuous online promotion of each venture via the platform, ventures can participate in a series of Greenbackers Superpitch events in front of local investor audiences, in-person, live-streamed and recorded via the Greenbackers Global Climatetech Tour with tour dates and venues as follows:
Mar 23 – Dubai, UAE – sucessfully completed with over 300 attendees (live and online) videos of the event to be posted shortly.
May 11-12 – All-Energy, Glasgow, UK. NOW OPEN FOR ATTENDEE REGISTRATION and VENTURE APPLICATIONS TO PRESENT.
Jun 21-23 – Amsterdam, NL. NOW OPEN FOR VENTURE APPLICATIONS TO PRESENT.
